Powder Coating – (FAQ)

Powder coating is an expensive and high-temperature finishing in which colored particles of powder are made electrostatically to be deposited on metal components and then baked in an oven. The result is a tough finish that is glossy and long-lasting, which will resist chips, corrosion, chemicals, and fading much better than regular paint.

Unlike spray paint, powder coating is baked into the metal surface, which creates a stronger molecular bond to the metal surface.

 It offers:

  • High-quality durability and scratch resistance.
  • UV and corrosion protection
  • Overall, a more even and smoother appearance
  • Zero solvents or VOC (environment-friendly)

It is the most appropriate choice of rim, braking calipers, and metal accessories exposed to road debris, salt, and heat.

Almost any metal part! Common items include:

  • Rims and wheels
  • Brake calipers
  • Exhaust tips and brackets
  • Metal trims, badges, and accoutrements.

We can coat it in case it is metal and is capable of taking heat.

There are professionally applied powder coats that can last more than 10 years with the proper care. It's thicker, more chip-resistant, more oxidation-resistant, and more chemical-resistant than paint, ideal for Canadian winters, road salt, etc.

We provide hundreds of finishes and colors, which include:

  • Gloss, Matte, Satin, and Metallic Colors
  • Textured and Candy finishes
  • Custom multi-stage colors
  • Factory OEM color matches

We are even able to mimic performance finishes (like Brembo red or gloss black) for a clean, premium finish.

Yes, we need tires off before coating so that we can have complete coverage, and it bakes. At your desire, our team will be able to do mounting and balancing during the coating process, and afterward, we can offer a complete service.

Usually 2-4 days (depending on the conditions of the parts, prep time, and curing). All components are chemically stripped, sand blasted, pre-baked, coated, and re-baked for perfect adhesion and finish.

Absolutely. We can remove old paint, touch up curb rash, refinish your wheels, and then paint them. Even old or oxidized rims are restored to brand new condition.

It is just a matter of washing it with mild soap and water, no harsh cleaners or wheel acids. Do not use harsh brushes; instead, dry with microfiber towels. For an even higher level of shine and protection, it can also be coated with a ceramic coating, which we also provide in-house.

Definitely, powder coating provides the durability and styling of showrooms that paint cannot offer. It is ideal for car enthusiasts who would like their wheels, calipers, or parts to remain shiny even after years, even in harsh driving conditions.

What Powder Coating Actually Is (Real Talk)

It’s not paint.

It’s powder — literally.

We spray the powder onto the metal, stick it in an oven, and it bakes into a solid shell. Once it cures, it’s way tougher than any regular paint job. That’s why people go for rim powder coating Brampton instead of repainting.

Why People Powder Coat Their Wheels

Rims take a beating every single day. Rocks, salt, brake dust, potholes, heat — everything hits them.

Painting them is pointless. Powder coating actually survives.

People do it because:

  • it doesn’t chip fast
  • stops rust
  • tons of colour options
  • easy to clean
  • lasts way longer than paint

If you don’t want your rim colour fading in three months, wheel powder coating Brampton is the move.

How We Actually Do It

No magic. Just the right steps:

  1. strip and clean the wheels (sandblast if they’re rough)
  2. spray the powder evenly
  3. bake them until the finish hardens

That’s it.

No shortcuts. No “quick spray and hope for the best.”

This is proper auto powder coating Brampton — the kind that doesn’t peel off next season.
